Disciples Who Make Disciples
Reading: 2 Timothy 2:1-2 - You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. NIV
Devotional: The ultimate goal isn't just making disciples—it's making disciples who make disciples. Paul told Timothy to entrust truth to faithful people who could teach others also. That's four generations of faith: Paul, Timothy, faithful people, and others. This multiplication is how the gospel spreads and the Church grows. When you invest in someone spiritually, you're not just changing one life; you're potentially impacting countless others they'll influence. This requires intentionality and patience. It means teaching someone not just what to believe but how to pass it on. As you stand in God's presence today, ask Him these two questions: What is God saying to me? What am I going to do about it? Let the wind of the Holy Spirit blow fresh direction into your life, then step forward in obedience.
