Nothing Can Separate Us
Reading:
Romans 8:34-39 - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ...... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Devotional: Paul's list of threats—tribulation, persecution, famine, sword—weren't hypothetical. He lived through them all while proclaiming Jesus. Yet he declares with confidence: nothing can separate us from God's love in Christ. Not death. Not life. Not angels or demons. Not the present or future. Nothing in all creation. Your eternity isn't dependent on your perfect performance or favorable circumstances. It rests on Christ's finished work. The enemy may attack, circumstances may overwhelm, but your salvation is secure. You are "more than conquerors" not because you're strong, but because He who loves you is. Whatever you're facing today, hear Paul's triumphant declaration: nothing can separate you from God's love.
