Put Yourself in the Frame
Reading: Luke 15:20 - So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
Devotional: The most important question from this series is not what you see when you look at someone else. It is what you see when you step into the story yourself. When you place yourself in the frame, everything shifts. You are not just the observer at the table. You have been the woman in the room. You have been the one who did not belong, the one no one invited, the one whose past walked in ahead of you. And Jesus did not turn away. He let you come. He washed your feet. He called you forgiven. Now go and do likewise.
Reflection: When you honestly place yourself inside these stories, who do you most identify with, and what does that reveal about where God is still at work in you?
