The Way That Seems Right
Reading: Proverbs 16:25
There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.
Devotional: There is a quiet danger in decisions that feel right in the moment. Proverbs warns that a path can appear entirely reasonable, even wise, and still lead somewhere destructive. Regret often begins not with obvious rebellion but with a choice that seemed harmless at the time. The ashtray was full, so we asked for something new. The gain seemed worth the cost. But looking back, we see clearly what we could not see then. Today, pause before your next decision. Ask God to illuminate what your own reasoning cannot. Wisdom is not just knowing what feels right. It is knowing what is right.
