The Gospel Is for Everyone
Reading:
Philippians 1:3-7 - I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me.

Devotional: Paul's affection for the church at Philippi was not rooted in preference or familiarity -- it was rooted in a shared participation in the gospel. He thanked God for every single person, not a select few. The gospel does not sort people by background, appearance, or spiritual maturity. It calls everyone into the same transforming work of Christ. Consider who you tend to overlook in your own community. The gospel compels us to widen our circle, not narrow it. Today, thank God specifically for three people whose faith has shaped yours, even in small ways.
